Due to the global covid19 pandemic we have adopted a digital approach for this years annual commemoration for Volunteer Ronán MacLochlainn. On May 1st 1998 while on active service for the Irish Republican Army, Ronán was shot and killed by state forces in highly suspicious circumstances. As a man who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the cause he held true, we are duty bound to honour him and keep his memory alive on this the 22nd anniversary of his death. This commemoration was made possible with the help of participants old and young from across Ireland and is a fitting tribute to the memory of Ronán.
