The Cork cumann of the 32 County Sovereignty Movement held a commemoration event of Sunday 5th January in memory of IRA Volunteer Finbarr Walsh who died under suspicious circumstances in 2005.
Finbarr was a dedicated Republican who upheld the integrity of Republicanism despite the betrayals of others. His dedication had an instrumental effect in preserving the cause of Republicanism across the island of Ireland during a time of betrayal and counter revolution.
