Oglach Ronán MacLochlainn

On this day, May 1st 1998, IRA volunteer Ronán MacLochlainn was killed in an ambush by free state police while on active service for the Republican cause.

Ronán was a loving family member and a dedicated Republican who never bowed to the actions of foreign and domestic pro-british state forces or his quisling former comrades who betrayed the cause.

We invite all to join us this coming Sunday as we commemorate Ronán at Glasnevin Cemetery where he is buried alongside another Irish patriot Joe Clarke.
