United Nations General Assembly 23/09/2025

In 1998 the 32 County Sovereignty Movement lodged a submission to the United Nations. This was meant as a peaceful way under international law, to challenge not only the British usurpation of Irish national sovereignty, but the copper fastening of that usurpation through the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, itself wrongly legitimised under the guise of peace.

As members of the United Nations met today to discuss the "recognition" of a Palestinian state, or simply for western leaders to massage their egos in the global spotlight, we reflect that our legitimate challenge has yet to be acted upon, almost three decades later, laying bare a sad reality that the UN, neutered by elite super powers, has little to no say on how the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people will proceed, irregardless of today's pantomime for the media.
