The Sovereignty Movement joined thousands of others on the streets of Belfast city centre on sunday to highlight our support for the Palestinian people and to show the world that citizens of Belfast do not agree with the western government agenda of supporting the Israeli regime. Although it was a great show of solidarity we were saddened to see Sinn Fein's Pat Sheehan handed the microphone. Pat and other Sinn Fein hypocrites meeting with the Israeli regime on a regular basis are acknowledging that the zionist government is a legitimate entity, this in turn serves to legitimise Israels occupation and illegal sovereign claim over Palestine. For our part we will continue to call out Israeli apartheid and those who support it and we reiterate our call to everyone to support the BDS movement wholly.
